Cecelia recently received the Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian
Award in honor of her life’s work with troubled youth. Cecelia’s
career has included 30 years with the Denver Juvenile Court as a
probation officer and supervisor, and two years with the Colorado
Adult Parole Board. She is an independent consultant with Denver
Community Corrections, Intervention Court Services and
Investigative Resources, Inc. While at the Denver Juvenile Court,
she started such programs as Program 365 and Denver Youth
Restitution and Volunteer Network. Cecelia frequently consults with
attorneys and with inmates and their families concerning DOC
issues and parole matters.
