Joseph Padilla is a retired Denver Police Captain with over 30 years of law enforcement and investigative experience. His law enforcement background includes overseeing Patrol, Investigations, Gang Bureau, Juvenile Bureau, Traffic Operations, and the Civil Liabilities/Professional Standards Bureau. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and is the recipient of numerous law enforcement awards including the Medal of Honor, Medals of Valor, Distinguished Service Crosses, and was nominated for the Presidential Medal of Valor, to name a few. Joe has also testified as an expert witness in the field of police procedure and the use of force in numerous cases in Colorado throughout his career. Also, he has managed several large events including the traffic and transportation plan for the Democratic National Convention, the World Series, and presidential visits and has served as the manager of the Investigative Support Center for the Rocky Mountain H.I.D.T.A. (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.) After retirement Joe received his private investigator’s license and in 2016 began assisting Investigative Resources on matters involving civil litigation, criminal defense, corporate security, personal injury accident investigations, insurance defense, and as a consultant on issues related to police procedure and the use of force. |
